E-Skip, December 23.

Today's E's activity was something a little different, with stations from Tasmania being heard. Was nice to hear, as Tasmania is not often heard in Adelaide - either via tropo or SpE.

90.1  7EXX Launceston
90.5 7PNN Burnie
90.9 7JJJ N. E. Tasmania

101.7 7HHO Hobart (** see note)
105.7 7SBS Hobart
106.5 7HFC Hobart
107.3 7XXX Hobart

**There is also Burnie on this frequency, however Burnie was weaker than the others, and was able to confirm Hobart via web stream match.

I was planning to get some recordings, but wouldn't you know it, just as I was about to get recording, the opening decided to disappear.

E-Skip log 14/12/15

Huge day on Monday, December 14 for E's, with QLD and Northern NSW coming in for just under 6 hours (with 2 short periods of relative quietness, approx 2.40 - 2.55pm, and 4.50 - 5.10pm). The tuner was wall to wall with signals right across the FM band. On with the log, as there is a lot to type!

Tropo log 15/2/15

With a cool change coming through Adelaide Sunday afternoon, dropping temperatures from 39 degrees to a more comfortable mid-20's, the evening saw tropo coming in.  First started listening from 7pm, with Western Victoria and Hamilton strong. E-Skip 10/2/15

A strange evening for E-skip on Tuesday, February 10, with openings lasting for minutes at a time, before finally getting something a bit stronger, even then, not lasting that long.

Started around 8.05pm with of Queenslanders, who then disappeared minutes later, then heard 93.3 at 8.18pm and again a couple of times over the next two hours. Grafton made an appearance from 8.32pm, again for only minutes. Next came Richmond/Tweed approx 9.28pm...again, a few minutes. Grafton returned for about 25 minutes from 9.55pm, with best reception roughly 10.05 - 10.15pm, gone by 10.20pm. At this time, Richmond/Tweed re-appeared and stayed around to about 11pm or so.
